Recommendations
Can be seeded anytime the soil can be kept moist. ¼ inch planting depth. Delay grazing until plants are well established, if seeded in the spring this would be late summer or early fall of the first growing season. For best results and maximum production obtain a soil test and fertilize according to the recommendations. This mix of grasses will function well in a pasture rotation system. Graze to 4 inch stubble height and allow a 3–4 week rest period between grazing events. This mix requires a minimum of 18 inches of irrigation. Irrigate according to your climate and soil type for best performance.
